Hi, I'm Joseph from South Korea and I run a hearing aid center.
This post will be translated and published in English.
My right side developed sudden hearing loss 10 years ago, and I have been using open2 cicP PB since I bought it 2 years ago. Recently, my left side hearing has been getting worse, so I came to consult a hearing aid.
Since you have a CIC-type hearing aid in your right ear, you can easily guide the other ear to the same type of hearing aid.
However, since you are currently working in a construction site and want to hear better in a noisy environment, we do not recommend CIC.

Therefore, it is necessary to be able to make a smooth phone call in a noisy environment, and we selected a hearing aid that works in a noisy environment according to the user's will, and decided on the Ponak_Sonova hearing aid.
We also considered BTE and rite_ric types, but since he works at a construction site and sweats a lot, we recommended ITC because there is a high risk of hearing aid failure due to sweat if the hearing aid is placed behind the ear.

This consultation was based on the audiogram from yesterday's hearing test at another center.
I also checked the settings of the hearing aids I bought at the other center, and there are a lot of problems with the settings for 80dB HL hearing, so I wonder if this is correct.
What do you think?
